Edry KRU Arahkan Filem 3D Pertama Di Malaysia

Selepas kejayaan filem Magika, pengarahnya, Edry Abdul Halim enggan mendiamkan diri dan memilih untuk mencuba sesuatu yang baru.

Lantas filem 3D stereoskopik berjudul 29 Februari tampil mengetengahkan idea kreativiti barunya dan sekaligus mengangkat karya keduanya itu sebagai yang pertama di negara ini menggunakan teknologi berkenaan.

“Filem ini menampilkan teknologi 3D stereoskopik dan merupakan yang pertama di negara ini menggunakan teknologi tersebut. Ia dihasilkan sebagai tanggungjawab kami kepada industri seni dan bukanlah sebuah hiburan kosong sahaja. Saya bangga dapat menghasilkan filem ini,” katanya ketika ditemui di lokasi penggambaran filem berkenaan di Stadium Merdeka, beberapa hari yang lalu.

Dibintangi oleh Remy Ishak dan Jojo Goh selaku pendukung utama, jelas Edry filem berkenaan mengangkat sebuah kisah cinta yang terhalang dek keluarga berikutan berlainan agama.

Namun yang menariknya mengenai filem tersebut ialah ia mengetengah elemen cinta, muzikal dan epik dalam satu pakej.

“Filem ini mengangkat kisah seorang lelaki bernama Budi yang dilahirkan pada tahun lompat iaitu pada 29 Februari. Perkembangan kehidupannya lebih perlahan berbanding orang lain kerana empat tahun orang biasa bersamaan setahun untuk lelaki itu.

“Dari situ bermulalah pelbagai kisah yang dilaluinya dan salah satu tentunya kisah cintanya terhadap gadis cina bernama Lily. Kelebihannya pada filem ini ialah suntikan muzikalnya serta pada masa yang sama kupasan sejarah kehidupan bermula pada zaman 1896 antaranya perang Jepun dan peristiwa 13 Mei ,” ucapnya.

Tambah Edry lagi, penonton juga akan dapat melihat antaranya peristiwa 13 Mei dan perang Jepun yang turut diselitkan dalam filem berkenaan.

Dengan berbajetkan RM 3.5 juta, kata Edry antara cabaran yang dilaluinya dalam menyiapkan filem ini ialah ketepatan fakta sejarah serta ketelitian dalam penghasilannya menggunakan elemen 3D itu sendiri.

“Cabaran utama saya tentunya dari segi fakta sejarah, yang mana tak boleh salah dan tak boleh nak songsangkan sejarah. Sebagai contoh babak 13 Mei dan perang Jepun itu merupakan satu fakta jadi kita tak boleh tipu. Saya tak boleh nak putar belit sejarah.

“Selain itu juga, menerusi penggunaan teknologi 3D ini semuanya perlu diteliti kerana ianya nampak detail. Bayangkan kita menggunakan 3D untuk mempamerkan emosi dan ia bukanlah satu tugas yang mudah,” katanya filem tersebut bakal ditayangkan pada 30 Ogos tahun hadapan.

Fantagio Denies Gong Yoo Has Married Lim Soo-jung

A press release issued by fantagio on Monday said that the rumor of the two having gotten married in secret, which has recently been spreading through various websites and social networking services, is “entirely groundless.”

Gong Yoo has been focusing only on his work these days, including filming and promoting his latest movie “The Crucibles” while now also busy preparing for his fan meeting in Japan in December, fantagio added.

In response, fantagio will inquire into a cyber investigation to find the original distributor of the news, take legal measures if necessary, and take firm measures against media outlets which have reported on the rumor without consideration of the agencies’ positions, the statement added.

Gong, 32, whose real name is Gong Ji-cheol, has appeared in more than a dozen television dramas and films since his debut in 2001 and became a household name throughout Asia after starring in the 2007 hit TV series “The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince.”

His latest project “The Crucibles,” co-starring actress Jung Yu-mi, topped the local box office for several weeks.

Lim, also of the same age, has appeared in numerous dramas and movies since her debut in 1998 including the hit TV series “I’m Sorry, I Love You” (KBS2, 2004) and films “A Tale of Two Sisters” (2003), “Lump of Sugar” (2006) and blockbuster fantasy flick “WOOCHI” (2009) opposite Korean actor Gang Dong-won.

The two starred in film “Finding Mr. Destiny” together last year but are known to be close friends.

Ijab Kabul Donny Azwan – Intan Nuraini Sekali Jalan

“Kita bersyukur alhamdulillah, hari ini saya resmi jadi nyonya Donny. Tadi sudah melewati akad nikah pukul 8 pakai adat Minang. Alhamdulillah berjalan hikmat, Donny bacanya lancar, langsung menatap ke ayah tanpa baca teks,” ungkap Intan Nuraini.

Intan yang didampingi sang suami, di Gedung Dhanapala Departemen Keuangan, Jl. Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta Pusat, Minggu (30/10/2011) pagi, menerima emas 30 gram sebagai mas kawin.

“Alhamdulillah ijab qobul lancar, sekali saja, eh pas nengok kok pas jam 9.11 WIB, latihannya sudah cukup. Mahar untuk pernikahan kita logam mulia, 30 gram menggambarkan tanggal pernikahan kita tanggal 30 Oktober,” jelas Donny.

Intan berharap pernikahannya dengan Donny Azwan Putra menjadi pernikahan pertama sekaligus yang terakhir hingga akhir hayatnya.

“Berharap ini adalah pernikahan sekali seumur hidup. Mohon doanya dari semua,” pungkasnya.

Coco Lee marries in an extravagant Jewish wedding

The singer had not sign any pre-nuptial agreement with hubby 36-year-old Coco Lee wedded her 52-year-old Canadian boyfriend, Bruce Rockowitz yesterday after an eight year courtship.

The wedding was held at Hong Kong’s Sky 100 and reportedly cost millions of dollars.

The wedding ceremony was conducted in traditional Jewish ritual and the venue was decorated with various white flowers to symbolise purity.

Coco’s guests included many popular Western singers and Taiwanese artistes like Elva Hsiao, Bowie Tseng and A-Ya. Elva, in particular, drew much attention while clad in a sexy red dress.

At 5.45pm, the band played Coco’s famous tune “Moonlight Lovers” to signify the start of the ceremony. Bruce entered with his 2 daughters from a previous marriage while Coco walked down the aisle with her mother.

Dressed in a wedding gown that was embellished with S$160,000 worth of pearls and jewellery, Coco was all smiles beside her groom. As Bruce is a Jew, he wore a traditional white Kipa.

After the exchange of wedding bands, a glass was broken in accordance to the Jewish belief that the sound of glass shattering signifies the beginning of a blissful married life.

The newlyweds shared a kiss when the ceremony ended.

A luxurious wedding banquet was then held at Ritz Carlton that night with 200 invited guests, where singers Jennifer Lopez and Bruno Mars took to the stage as guest performers at the wedding.

Speaking to the press later that night, the bride, who was dressed in a lovely golden evening gown, and clad in jewellery worth S$1.28 million, gushed, “During the ceremony, my heart was beating so fast and I almost cried. But I had to stop myself from crying by thinking of my dog at home, since a wedding is supposed to be a joyous occasion.”

When asked if Coco and Bruce had signed any pre-nuptial agreements, the couple shared that they will be sharing everything with each other, including all of their assets.

Shahrukh to grace Lady Gaga’s show

Shahrukh Khan’s highly ambitious project ‘Ra.One’ hit the theatre this Diwali and after receiving a mixed review, Shahrukh Khan is geared up for Lady Gaga’s show at Formula 1 after-party event to be held in Greater Noida Sunday night.

“Everyone seems to be happy with ‘RA.One’ in Los Angeles…I feel so touched and happy. now off to Delhi for Formula1 and Lady Gaga show!!” Shah Rukh posted on his Twitter page Saturday.

Gaga, who arrived in India Thursday night will be performing at the F1 after party event and she assures that her special performance will have an “Indian influence”.

The after-party has been organized by actor Ajun Rampal and restaurateur A.D. Singh’s high-end lounge and bar Lap. It will be held at a special 20,000 sq ft construction at the Jaypee Greens Golf and Spa Resort in Greater Noida.

Shahrukh is looking forward to the event as he wished to rope in Lady Gaga for ‘Ra.One’ but things did not work out. King Khan will get to catch up with Gaga on her life and career in an exclusive tete-a-tete for a chat show on UTV Bindass.

Fraternities from the fashion, films and bureaucrats are expected to grace Lady Gaga’s show.

Does the Material Girl Have a Homeless Brother?

The Material Girl reportedly has an immaterial brother, or at least one with no roof over his head. According to the Michigan Messenger, Madonna’s older brother Anthony Ciccone has been living under a bridge in Traverse City, Mich.

So, what’s the homeless-for-a-year guy got to say about his little sister’s lack of interest in his predicament?

“My family turned their back on me, basically, when I was having a hard time,” he said. “You think I haven’t answered this kind of question a bazillion times—why my sister is a multibazillionarie, and I’m homeless on the street?”

Big brother Anthony reportedly lost his job at Ciccone Vineyard, owned by his father, in the nearby town of Suttons Bay, Mich., and now collects discarded bottles and cans to make money.

We know times are tough out there, but charity begins at home, right? And we’re guessing there just might possibly be someone out there who could shine a ray of light on Anthony’s dark situation.
